Game Changer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Masterbuilt 1050 gravity-fed smoker offers the best of both worlds, combining the ease of use of a pellet smoker with the full flavor of charcoal/wood. I bought mine a few months after it first launched, and it is still going strong. The only issue I have is that the plastic trim all cracked, but that is to be expected since I live in the Arizona heat.

Im falling in love with this Bbq over my other Bbq

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ive had the Masterbuilt 1050 for 3 years. Ive used this bbq quite often over my other Bbqs. After its lit cooking on this one seems to cook better for pork loins and chicken and steaks. Ive even got down on some pulled pork, t Tri tips.

Mfr defects but works well

The hopper lid seal was not installed correctly and the back corner of the seal was not screwed into the lid. One would think this would not be a big deal but the seal didnt lie flat as it should have and it created a crease on the seal. I removed the screw and slid the seal into the lid as it is supposed to be but since the seal was creased it does not s...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the 800 gravity series grill and absolutely love it so easy to use and the temperature controls are spot on. You can do so much with this grill everything you will ever need in one unit.

Best ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the smaller gravity series 560. I upgraded almost a year ago to the 800 and I love it. Its so simple to use and the only moving part is the fan! Less things to go wrong. I can throw real wood splits in it with the long smokes. Its an overall awesome grill and I see no need for a pellet grill over one of these!

Great smoker that blends electric and charcoal

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So this smoker really stands out because it gives you the best of both worlds. You can use wood and charcoal to get real smoke flavor (something you cant do well with a Traeger) while also having the convenience of a traeger. It can also be heated up to 700F pretty quickly and used as a regular grill. I love it. I just wish the metal was a bit thicker.

Great & Versatile Smoker/Grill/Pizza Oven!

It is a good smoker that allows you to use traditional fuel (no pellets!) while still taking advantage of new technology (wifi, app, probe, etc.). My only complaint is the occasional struggle to ignite, which I understand has been addressed with the newer model.
