Best Beginner smoker/ grill

This was easy to set up. Easy to control temp both while smoking and grilling. This has great air flow even with the gaps. Super beginner grill and smoker. Lot of high end features for the money. If you are just getting into grilling or smoking this is the best beginner smoker on the market

Awesome grill

Damaged, so dissapointed.

We were so excited for this grill which was a large purchase for us. My first mistake was ordering online for pick-up, because I couldn't select the box that wasn't already smashed up. It quickly became clear that it wasn't just the box. The barrel was bent, parts of the weather proof metal is scratched (so i get a fun preview of where to expect rust), and a welded piece in the smoker was completely off, off which made it impossible to remove the tray without further damage. Not Very Good

Easy assembly but this thing leaks smoke everywhere. For a smoker to work properly it needs to be sealed and have only one intake and exhaust. I would not recommend this product.

Charcoal griller

My 24-year old daughter put it together. I love the smoker feature and the temperature gauge!

Stay away do not buy!

Cheap made trash do not buy does not hold smoke. Get the Oklahoma Joe's and be alot happier. This is nothing more than a grill.

Master Forge offset grill smoker

The Master Forge offset grill smoker is awesome , it is a awesome product it worked great for me and the family.

OK for direct grilling

If you just use the offset, you can easily grill burgers and steaks. But it's a small area. The assembly/fit is not very good. There are large gaps between the hood and the main cooking area, so heat and smoke are immediately lost. This means slow cooking will use a lot of fuel and take an unusually long time. I'm adding gaskets around the whole thing but I've never had to do that with other smokers or grills that were made better.

Total trash stay away

Nothing is sealed smoke leaks from everywhere. Doesn't hold heat even on an 80 degree day. There's very little draft from vent to chimney. Do yourself a favor and buy the Oklahoma Joe's. This cheap smoker should only be $50 at most since it's pretty much a grill.

More Grill Than The Price

More grill for the price. I think it would be better if there was a vent that you could open or close on the smoke box to keep the charcoal off your food. Other than that it is a great grill.

It's a nice grill

Don't buy this if you're looking for a smoker. It makes a really nice charcoal grill though. The cast iron grates are wonderful for getting good grill marks and a great sear. The large cooking surface and the multi-level coal grate in the chamber is awesome for having company and a cookout. But I repeat: if you want to smoke meat, this will not be any good. It isn't sealed well at all and is very thin so it leaks heat and smoke from EVERYWHERE.
