Less than 2 years old...

Less than 2 years old and quit. No longer under warranty and not cost effective to repair. This is my second one in less than 6 years.

Some clothes come out DIRTIER than they came in

I've been very unhappy with this washer. The Bad - the basin doesn't always have enough water to cover the clothing, I've had MANY clothes come out dirtier than they came in, I've had clothing come out WITH stains that weren't there prior to washing, my husbands work clothes don't get clean, his deodorant doesn't wash out of his work shirts. Overall not doing the job of a washer. The Good - it's a very large capacity, it's pretty quiet, easy to figure out the display.

Spits out gunk!

DO NOT be fooled by the beautiful aesthetic designs by LG. These washer are just NOT it! I purchased these and the wash was spitting out gunk by year #3! Of course right after my warranty expired. Every load covered in pieces of floating mold. I did all the tub washings, not too much detergent or tide pods as well as not too much fabric softner. Followed directions to the tee and nope didn't last switching to good old Samsung! My sister has the same and has had to have the drum replaced within ...

Great features!

This is the perfect size if you like doing large load. I am so hard on my washer and dryer. This fits so much in one wash. I can wash blankets in this washer! A big plus because I have a dog. This has so many cycles and controls. I love the quick wash. I have not used the wifi on it since I load and start it right away. Only Con: I am short. The tub is so deep I have to use a stool and a grabber.

Mold building is relentless!

Mold buildup inside the drum componenets has been horrible - we have had this unit for about 5 years - I leave the lid up always when its not in use - we don't have a high humdity home and I have used monthly buidlup cleaner - All that to say - clothes never seem truly clean even with the agitator. We started to see black flakes on our clothes especially white because it stands out. I removed the agitator cap and the entire inside was filled with mold. Bad Customer Service and Warranty is Worthless

VERY easily scratched. The agitator is useless. Goes offline a lot. Smells weird even with regular maintenance and upkeep. Doesn't clean that well. Customer service does what they can to finagle out of warranty and service visits.

Has to be the worst wash ever, right?

How there isnt a recall on this washer is beyond me. Soap scum/scrud/limestone/dirt is left in the tub or all over clothes causing marks all over them every time no matter the setting. Ive researched every tip and trick from lg and other articles/videos, nothing works. Clothes never get clean and neither does the wash itself, tried every type of detergent, less detergent, every cleaning method, try to clean in more than once every 30 washes, and its not even buildup bcuz its been happening since...

Disappointed

This machine tub is too large and too deep. The agitator just shakes the clothes and never tumbles or moves the clothes around the machine. The water level never has enough water. Even on deep wash, sometimes the clothes come out with dry spots on them.

Stuck below the agitator

I washed two inner shower curtains and one of them got stuck in the crack between the agitator and the tub how is this possible. Was a good washing machine until this happened what am I to do now pay for a service guy to come out and fix it? I don't think I should have to

Do not buy

This is hands down the worst washing machine I have ever owned. What is the use of high efficiency washer if you have to use deep wash and extra rinse on every load? Items do not come out clean and have never come out clean even when brand new. This washer is about a year old and is a disgrace. It should be taken off the market.

Failed 1-/2 Years In

The gear case assembly failed about a year and a half into owning this. Spent $1k on this machine and only the motor is covered by warranty past 1 year. $450 to replace. It's ridiculous. DONT BUY LG!

Average

I selected this dishwasher The recommendation of the salesman. I had it less than six months and the agitator had to be replaced because my sheets would be pulled under it and tear. I’m not sure I would buy dishwasher again.

Great product and support

We bought a few months ago. Works like a charm. Very happy with purchase. Strange, but we love the glass lid.
