What Customers Are Saying
Customers praise these roller shades for effectively blocking harsh sunlight and reducing heat while maintaining outdoor visibility and a clean, modern aesthetic. Many highlight the balance of daylight entry and glare elimination, noting strong value for the cost. However, installation challenges persist—reviewers report fitting issues despite accurate measurements and inconsistent cutting service. Mechanical reliability concerns emerge frequently, with shades getting stuck halfway, springs failing, and cardboard rollers contributing to poor retraction. Despite these drawbacks, most customers find the core light-filtering function worthwhile.

Would Not RecommendThese look nice enough and we're easy to get cut down. The down fall is the spring mechanism. Trying to get half of these to lock into place is a huge pain. Than most are a struggle to unlock and put in the up position. 25-30% don't work at all... The ones that do work require regular adjustments as they don't always retract. So you will be pulling them from the mounts regularly if you want them all the way up. Others will lock open, so you'll have to take them down and manually roll them ...

Nice light shade, but …
This is a beautiful shade, but the lift mechanism is deficient - fortunately we’re OK with keeping the shade down.

Struggles to raise back up

Won’t fit as advertised
Would Not RecommendI bought it and had it cut for a 41 1/2” inside dimension window opening. When I tried to install it I found it was cut slightly longer than 41 1/2 inches and wouldn’t fit inside the frame. When I brought I back to the store and asked to have it cut slightly shorter, they simply refused. Refunds are not allowed on specially cut items so I simply threw it away in the trash can in front of the Midwest city Lowe’s. It may be a good product but Lowe’s simply doesn’t have the competence and capabili...

Terrible quality
Would Not RecommendI just bought these, had them cut to size, took them home, and am so disappointed. When held up to the window, they are so thin that they are just ever so slightly better than having nothing at all. Also, the mechanism doesn't work, and they don't roll back up. These are not even close to being cordless. They feel and look cheap, so buyer beware. And I'm stuck with them since custom cut. Will just throw them in the trash. What a waste of money.
