I would recommend this to an enemy...
Would Not RecommendI spoke to Kobalt customer service. There is no replacement trim head for this model. So I now have a $200 paperweight since the string head flew apart after 1 year of use. I appreciate the honesty of the Kobalt rep in confirming that Lowes is selling expense 80V Kobalt trimmers for which there are NO replacements for wear items.
This is a great stringer
Would RecommendEasy to load cutting string. Long battery life.

Kobalt 80 V string trimmer
Product works as it should but not stronger than a gas trimmer & the battery last less than 45 minutes. Have to recharge to finish trimming edge each time I use it, purchased May 12 , 2026.

This is the best weedeater that I have ever owned
Would RecommendThis is the best weedeater that I have ever owned! I was skeptical about getting an electric weedeater at first but it is insanely easy to use and I love how quiet and light it is. With the 80V battery it is still very powerful though and cut through heavy weeds and kudzu vines with no problem. The battery lasts about 45 minutes to an hour and charges back to full very quickly.
