What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this trimmer for its lightweight design, quiet operation, and ease of assembly, with most noting it significantly outperforms gas models. Reviewers highlight powerful performance for light to medium yard work, cordless convenience, and 24V battery compatibility with existing tools. Many report strong battery life for typical yards, though some on larger properties note runtime limitations requiring 2.5-hour recharges. A few experience frustration with string replacement due to head design confusion, and several mention the unit cannot rotate 90 degrees for true edging capability. Overall, most customers find it reliable and user-friendly despite minor drawbacks.

It really is quiet and easy to use.
We love this new electric weed eater. Our old gas powered weed eater (not name brand) stopped working and was too difficult to use and carry. This one is quiet, easy to control and doesn’t make you sore afterwards!

Great tool!
Would RecommendThis is a really helpful weed eater to get to areas that cannot be reached by a tractor mower. Easy to put together and I love that it has a battery instead of gas or an electric cord. Perfect for my purposes.

Love it!
Would RecommendI basically took it out of the box - put a full battery on it and after installing the handle I was weed eating around the parking lot - Quiet and powerful - Love it...

For $99 dollars It's a good easy to use trimmer.
Would RecommendThis model has a hinged shaft which you screw together to operate and unscrew if storage space is an issue for you. Other models, possibly older have a removable lower shaft that appears to be designed to handle other Kobalt tools with easy swap out capabilities. This KST 2024B-03 model seems to be a trimmer only model with trimming/edging it's only function.
