Ratings & Reviews for Kobalt QUIET TECH 24-volt 15-in Straight Shaft Battery String Trimmer 4 Ah (Battery Included) (Charger Included)

To reload string is horrible.

Last kobalt 24 volt trimmer lasted about 5 years then won’t run. Looks like new just dead can’t get parts. Purchased a new 24 volt it’s the same other than the trimmer head. It’s impossible to reload the string by turning the knob. Finally took off and reloaded manually like old style. Took a few times off and on to get it to advance line. Trimmer is fine but the trimmer head is junk.

Weedeater

Lasted 1 week.. Bought the same one I purchased 7 yrs ago thinking it would be fine , having batteries already.. Thing quit working( won’t spin, head stopped working.. Upser with this product..

Great tool!

I have had a chance to try this trimmer. It is light, powerful, arrived in a timely manor. and was priced right!

Very satisfied with both items purchased, what I'm most satisfied with is the service i received when checking out. Heather was so kind and made sure I had every opportunity for savings by applying for the credit card which I never got but that's ok

Restringing is a joke.

Restringing this thing is horrible. These other must be paid reviews. Just the worst…. It proves the point, that it took me a while and many hoops to jump through to leave this review….

Great for keeping the yard neat!

This is such a convenient tool to have to cut overgrown weeds and edges. I feel safer using something without a blade and this helped me clean up pesky weeds that grow over my driveway. As a female, it is a little heavy for me but not unbearable. My husband has a lot easier time maneuvering it. The set up was really easy and we really like that it’s a quiet and electric tool, rather than gas. Highly recommend this trimmer.

Weed eater

We absolutely love this kobalt brand weed eater! Gets the job done! [I received this product in exchange for my honest review]

The Old Model was Better!

I loved my old 24V Kobalt trimmer. It saw four years of hard use. Truly a great tool. I'm sorry it died. The new one makes me pretty unhappy. The old model wasn't broke, but they fixed anyway. This new head is overly complicated inside, which means there's more stuff that can go wrong. It feels quite a bit heavier, and is nowhere-near as easy to swing around. My left shoulder has been messed-up since Iraq '03, so I cannot use this for the same duration I could the old one. Loading strin...

Very long trimmer

This trimmer is over 5ft. tall and the description should have included the measurements. Works good so far but is a lot for me since I am 5' 5" tall.

Re string

Almost impossible to find parts for Quiet Tech 24. Different head to replace string. Unable to find a video or talk to a human at Lawn and Garden department. Zero stars if I could. This thing sucks.

Easy Use and powerful

This trimmer works great! Very powerful and easy to set up and operate. Works great for edging and cleaning up flower beds.

Love this trimmer!

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I’ve used this trimmer several times and throughout different areas of my yard and it works great! It consistently leaves my yard looking fresh. It is easy to use and doesn’t require a lot of maintenance. Highly recommend!

This one surprised me in a good way!

I own several 24 volt Kobalt devices and are pleased with the performance of all of them. I recently bought this string trimmer because my wife (much smaller than I) wanted something she could handle. I have 2 large gas trimmers that are much more powerful, but heavy. My first surprise was how well it worked with thinner string than my others. The second was that we got 25 or 30 minutes out of one battery cycle. The third was I started using it myself and am shocked that I have not yet changed t...
