What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this trimmer for its lightweight design, quiet operation, and ease of assembly, with most noting it significantly outperforms gas models. Reviewers highlight powerful performance for light to medium yard work, cordless convenience, and 24V battery compatibility with existing tools. Many report strong battery life for typical yards, though some on larger properties note runtime limitations requiring 2.5-hour recharges. A few experience frustration with string replacement due to head design confusion, and several mention the unit cannot rotate 90 degrees for true edging capability. Overall, most customers find it reliable and user-friendly despite minor drawbacks.

Would RecommendI got one of these about a year and a half ago for a gift but it ended up not working and now I'm having a very hard time getting a replacement I don't even have the weed eater anymore I was hoping they would stand by their word and give me another one but I don't know maybe they will but great

Wonderful Product
Would RecommendI received this product in exchange for my honest review I’ll tell you what I never thought I would be excited about tools before but Lowe’s you did it! I wasn’t expecting to get this much for this product . But, the low noise is a game changer no loud, overwhelming sounds, which I really appreciate. It’s super effective, cuts clean, and gets the job done fast without feeling bulky or hard to handle. Perfect little new toy for my husband. Honestly, it just makes yard work feel easier and way ...
💪👍🏻💪👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Would RecommendI was honestly impressed with this Kobalt string trimmer. It’s lightweight, easy to handle, and much quieter than gas-powered ones, which is a big plus 🙌 The battery lasts long enough for regular yard work, and it cuts clean—even through slightly thicker grass. I also love that it’s cordless, so no dealing with cables or fuel.

Great trimmer, easy to use
Would RecommendGreat trimmer, no complaints. It's easy to use and is quieter than my old trimmer. Does the job well and seems like it's built well, so should hold up for awhile!
Very quiet
Would Recommend[I received this product for free in return for my honest review] This String Trimmer is a good choice for light yard work. It’s easy to start, runs quietly, and feels lightweight enough for comfortable use. The battery life is decent for small to medium lawns, though it may need a recharge for bigger jobs. It’s convenient, low-maintenance, and great if you want a quieter alternative to gas trimmers
Light weight and quiet
Would Recommend[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This is incredibly quiet and light weight trimmer. The battery is small and doesn't add much weight, but lasts a long time (enough to trim what needs trimmed on a 40x90 lot) and no compromise on performance. Minimal assembly with a few screws. Adjustable placement for the handle so you're not bound to one area, and makes it a lot easier to use.
Maybe okay for small jobs Not recommended
Would Not Recommendbattery life is less than 10 minutes
