The line runs out fast. Bump feed doesn’t work. The battery makes it extremely heavy. I hate it and might see about returning it.

Kobalt 80V 16" Trimmer

The package came with trimmer, charger and Two (2) batteries. The extra battery pushed me to replace my old Kobalt trimmer AND I needed new batteries. Easily assembled, worked well on tough hills of grass where you cannot mow. Now... if I can find replacement parts when needed, I will be happy.

Second Kobalt weed eater and couldn’t be happier!

I had the past model of this and loved it so much but my heads had worn out and after about 4 years my battery was holding about 70 percent of a charge. So took advantage of this deal having two batteries with the weed eater. I’ve used it a few times now and have no issues whatsoever. Works great. Doesn't Work

1. When Box was delivered to my house, the product had been opened and scratched. Looked like a return. The box was cut open and one part of the edger was missing. The main point is that it didn't work It would go in for only a second or two and shut off. 2. When we went in to return it, the cashier at the return counter was quite rude. Replaced older model

Works well, easy to assemble

too heavy, discharges opposite of other weed eaters, and despite what the directions say, it is a nightmare to re-string, wish I had bought a gas powered

string winding

the weed eater is pretty good and quiet and fairly balanced. however this has to have the worst string winding head I've ever used, it has a poor winding design that aggravates me every time I try to put new string in it. this is what happens when overpaid engineers try to make something better and they just make it worse.

Poor Customer Service

Ordered This trimmer online. The product arrived broken. Cheap pot metal screw head holding the collar to the shaft. Weak and dangerous. After sucking almost an hour out of my life they charged me for another one while the defective one was in transit back to Lowes. The replaced came 2 days later than expected and was the wrong item. again called customer service who sucked another hour out of my life, who said they would have to charge the card again. Difficult to advance string

I loved my weedeater until it ran out of string the first time. It's very difficult to replace and doesn't advance as it should. It does have lots of power, but also slightly heavy.

Great Piece of the Kobolt 80v set

I already had the hedge trimmers and blower, so I added the weed wacker. I got just the unit since I had two batteries already. Works great - nice and quiet but powerful. Assembly instructions (though easy) could have been a bit more clear on the placing of the handle in relation to the existing clip for the shoulder strap. Don't count on getting other attachments

I've only had this for a few years, and already it's impossible to find a hedge trimmer attachment to put on this. I can purchase the ENTIRE hedge trimmer, but that defeats the entire reason we pay EXTRA for a modular tool. In desperation I looked for universal attachments and this brand is literally the only one that doesn't accept universal attachments.
