I bought this chainsaw about two years ago to augment the use of my 18 inch Stihl chainsaw. The Stihl hasn't been used since as the Kobalt is hands down the best product I have ever bought to maintain the 14 acres I live on. It's effortless to start and has no exhaust, I love it.

Would Not RecommendBouth this 80V because it matched my other battery operated tools 80V so far the chair fell of twice. The chain was dull too. Small tree it was very dull in its performance. Not sure why this happen. Had to take it to a place to fix it right. Disappointed.

Instead, I got an open box with parts missing and damaged. The saw was there and appeared to be unused. The wrench was missing, and the other paperwork was in the box but used and damaged. That would have been fine if I had bought an open box and saved 10 or 15%. But, I purchased a new product, not on sale. Instead, Lowes ...

I have the 80v blower and added the hedge trimmer and string trimmer. I wanted to add the chain saw for trimming jobs that could be done more efficiently with this tool instead of the hedge trimmer.
