Went dull fast

Makes clean holes in porcelain but I only got 1 good hole out of each before they were too dull. 3 hours per hole after that.

Bad quality

Used on ceramic tile. The blades broke off on three after the first use. I used plenty of water and drilled slow. They bits cut fast but didn’t last at all. One time use bits for sure.

For use on Porcelain Tile

I was told these bits were designed to cut porcelain tile. After drilling two holes each, bot bits had broken. I would not recommend these for this type job.

Excellent set of glass bits. I already used and worked perfectly.

Perfect for ceramic tile

Used to insert toggle bolts for towel bar on ceramic tile in bathroom; a few squirts of water and slow speed went right through to cement board in under 15 seconds; drilled 10 without any loss of sharpness. Prepunch starter point with masonry nail to keep from wandering, towels to catch water from spray bottle (all it needs is a little water). Definitely worth the cost.

Kobalt Drill bits for Ceramic tile

I was worried about drilling into ceramic tiles in the bathroom to hang a curtain rod. The bits worked great. Just follow the directions included (pretty much common sense).

Work well.

They work best for me at a medium RPM and I need to keep the bit from overheating. A spray bottle of water works good but you need a 3rd hand.

Amazing! Just what I wanted!!

I have been trying to put holes in my bathroom tile to fix wall mount pump and tried buying so many drill bits like masonry bit, etc., for my porcelain tile. Nothing worked and finally bought this one in Lowe’s today and it works perfectly fine and did the job in less than 5 mins.

Glass and tile bits

Bought these to drill holes to mounts towel hooks. Didn’t pay a lot of money for them, but still you would think they would break the drill off. 2 of the 4 broke before I could finish the simple project. Guess I will not be buying Kobalt bit for any future projects

Worked great through ceramic bath tile

I needed to drill 6 holes through bathroom tile to install grab bars. They worked great, the hole did not wander, and went right through. Used a cordless drill with no issues.

Not a bad product

Gets the job done, but it is more of a one project use bit. I got 6 holes done in ceramic tile before the bit I was using was done for.

The Kobalt drill bit did a great job for us and our project turned out really well.

broke on 1st use!

THe tips are not strong enough. The tip on the small bit broke! I applied Slow and light fo medium pressure but it didn’t work.
