Ceramic drill bits

These work for drilling into ceramic (like tiles). I used it to move a hole on a ceramic wall sconce. It was only a few extra dollars to get a 4 pack instead of just 1 size so I recommend just doing it in case.

Drill bit for glass also

The name doesn't say "for glass" but it's applicable for drilling glass also. I used this to make new hole for a new gas releasing valve. Worked great.

effective but fragile

i tried several different bits to create a 5/16in hole in my porcelain tile. these bits were by far the most affective, but they broke very easily. i started with the smaller bits and gradually increased to the desired size. I went through three sets of these to make nine 5/16 holes. That may sound like a lot, but considering the stadnard drill bit style with special tips for this use barely left a scratch let alone a hole, i'm happy with the results.

I used this bit for work then at home and it still is in good condition as long as you keep it wet.

It works!

I tried drilling ceramic tile with a masonry bit but kept making a mess of the tile. This bit with a little water made a perfect hole in the tile.

Ceramic Tile

I used this drill bit to drill holes in ceramic tile for wall anchors to install a magnetic knife holder in the kitchen. I started the drill slowly so it wouldn't walk and proceeded to drill the holes with minimum effort. It drilled precise, round holes without chipping or cracking the tile. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to drill into ceramic tile, just take your time with it and let the drill bit do the work.

Simply stated, but important to know. I found this set of affordable tile drill bits and the WORK! Forget about ones that cost more, they don’t work as well; I’m telling you!

Easy to use drill bits, cut through tile easy

Purchased these to drill through tile and install shower rod. Bits were strong and easy to use. Holes drilled easily, cleanly, no chips or cracking. Would buy again.

Great bit

The drill bit did a great job of drilling into thick ceramic tile without disturbing the rest of the tile.

Glass Cutting

I got these to drill holes in glass. Used the recommended drill speed and they worked great. Cut thru the material like going thru butter, I used slow steady pressure and let the bits do the work.

Glass/ceramic drill bit

It promptly broke when I drilled a hole through a fired ceramic plate, even though I kept the object wet. I was so dissapointed as i specifically bought this bit to drill through ceramic.

Tile drill bit

I had no problem using these and did not crack the tile
