Went through porcelain tile fine

With the help of a very helpful Lowe’s associat I purchased this to put two screws in freshly installed porcelain in order to hang a vanity mirror. My daughter was able to achieve her goal thanks to professional advice and a good product that along with my daughter got the job done. All is good

Did the job I bought it for!

Had several clay and ceramic pots I needed drainage holes in. Was having problems with other drill bits, but these did the trick in no time!

Poor quality

Tip cane off while drilling first hole in porcelain tile

Not a good product. A few seconds into the first use drilling into bathroom tile and the tip of the bit broke off. Very disappointed. Planning to return next visit to store.

Junk.

Burnt out in less than half a hole. Bought the Bosch carbide-tip bits as replacements.

Junk

All bits for drilling tile are junk weather you keep the area wet or not. You will get 1-3 holes out of each bit before its shot.

Holes through ceramic tiles for toilet flange

This product worked perfectly! Used smallest drill bit for 6 holes to fix a toilet flange to the tiled floor. Took me about 2 minutes to do so. Compared to other drill bits for tiles I used over the years, these ones are by far the most effective ones.

Worked As Planned

Apparently, the tile we were attempting to drill thru has a harder glaze than most, according to some experienced remodelers. But, these bits did the job in getting our new range hood installed.

Junk bits

These are complete garbage. Each one came apart where the shaft meets the bit. I was attempting o use them on ceramic tile, but they failed to do the job.

short life.

after drilling my third hole the bit was completely done, and I needed to drill 3 more that size. I will return this junk to lowes for a refund. Unfortunately it will cost me a 2 hours plus fuel.

Worth every penny!

I was skeptical about buying these because of all the bad reviews, but i said what the heck I’ll give it a try. After all they are budget friendly. I just finished a tile project and i needed to hang the curtain rod. I drilled each hole like in less than a minute. You must use a water sprayer to keep the the bit from over heating (it gets hot within seconds) but it will get the job done and the bit will last for many other times for use. works great on porcelain tile

I bought this set as I needed to drill 8 holes in porcelain tile, these worked perfectly. I used a smaller bit to drill a pilot hole then finished with the size I need. Very easy to locate and drill straight through without drill walking. Much better than those porcelain bits. Just dont expect them to last too long and keep them wetted.

Needed this to drill through tile. Using the correct tool makes the job easier.

Kobalt steel drill bit

I was really let down when it wouldn't drill.into cement blocks. They did work well on tile though.

cut fast

learn NOT too push real hard and they will last longer. Drill small hole's in ceramic tile for screws was happy how well they cut ; but did burn first one up cause I push with too much force. Might need water also too keep them from burning up ; they heat up fast. Go easy!!

Crooked Bits

It is impossible to drill a hole when the bits are curved, especially when you are trying to start them on a slick surface like a ceramic tile. I bought these to drill some necessary holes in ceramic tiles to hang hardware in the bathroom and they are useless. The price was very reasonable, but not is they don't work on anything.

Two holes and it was useless.

Used water when I used this drill bit but it only lasted for two holes.
