What Customers Are Saying
The tile drill bit provides mixed performance. It can effectively and efficiently drill clean, precise holes through ceramic and porcelain tiles, especially when used with a steady speed, water cooling, and a drill press. However, some users reported issues with the bit breaking or becoming unusable after just a few holes, even with careful use. The bit may also get too hot and vibrate or lose its grip. Overall, the bit can work well if used properly, but its durability may be a concern, especially for larger projects.

Please bring these back!!!
Would RecommendThey get the job done although they have a tendency to break. Honestly these have been the best we've used for our shower door installation work. Lowe's carrying them for some reason. The multi-blade bits they decided to replace them with are hot trash.

Kobalt glass and tile bits
Would Not Recommendeasily break while attempting to drill through ceramic tile even if it is a pilot hole or drilling after a pilot hole...not satisfied....where is it manufactured?...you guessed it....China.
You get what you pay for
Would Not RecommendThis drill bit was a good brand and looked to be good quality, but the performance is anything but that. It took an excessive amount of time just to make one hole in wall tile. After two holes it would not work at all

Works better with a little water where drilling.
Would Recommendwoked well to drill drainage hole in bottom of ceramic planter
Weak
Would Not RecommendI had predrilled 1/4” holes in my ceramic shower wall and was going to use this 1/2” bit to finish enlarging the holes. The bit snapped off where it was fastened to the shaft before I could finish the second hole.
Glass tile
Would RecommendHad to drill through 3/8" glass tile to install a shower door. Masonry bits barley scratched the surface. Sent the wife to get these. Used with a hammer drill and water spray bottle. Making sure it had plenty of water while drilling, it only took about 15-20 seconds be per hole. Sometimes you just need the right tool for the job. These worked perfectly and I'm glad to have them in my toolbox.
Did everything right and they still broke
Would Not RecommendUsed them to drill glass tile and they broke. Used water and kept the rpms down. It made 4 holes and completed the job I needed them for before the tip snapped off.

Perfect bit for drilling holes in tile!
Would RecommendI bought this bit for drilling holes in tile to mount a grab bar in the shower for my 83yo dad. I marked my holes, centered the bit on the mark and started drilling. The bit instantly started carving out a perfect hole--no drifting off my mark, no chipping tile--just a perfectly smooth hole. Just what I needed! I recommend it to anyone that needs to drill holes in ceramic tile! Sorry, I forgot to take pictures before I mounted the grab bar...
