Compact well organized tool case!! Is a rather heavy tool case, that is the cost of having a wide selection of tools.

Nice tools but VERY poor case

I wanted a decent set of tools for my shed and a plastic case so it would not rust. I do wish I had read the reviews beforehand though. Like a lot of reviewers I can't stand the case. You have to pull all of the drawers in order to get the bottom one out and getting them back in is horrible. It also should have a way to secure the drawers as they come out nice and easy when you carry the unit. The tools are great though.

Great tool set for starters

This set has just about everything I need thus far for little stuff around the house.

The case

The case is trash. Fell apart right after I bought it in the store and tools spilled out everywhere. Lucky to have store people help and returned the tools for my money back.

Good, basic set

Damaged

Right out of the box received a damaged tool box. The drawers won’t open and close properly. The only option Lowes gave me, after they sent me a damaged item, was to go to the store myself and return it and then reorder it. That kind of defeats the purpose of online ordering.

Sloppy Drawers

The drawers do not slide nicely and fall off their tracks easily. I'm not sure if ours is just faulty or if that's the general design. As far as price and what we want the set for (an office setting), it will be great.

Socket Drivers Failed - Worthless Case

The tool SELECTION is admittedly great. Both socket drives failed after very little use. Junk. The CASE is 100% garbage. How does a company as big as Kobalt even release something this worthless? Save your money and look elsewhere.

Great tools - terrible case

Tools are great! I have pretty much every tool I need for basic projects around the house. Tools are good quality - sturdy. Love the red & blue lines on sockets to indicate imperial vs. metric. The case is terrible, though. The drawers don’t always fit well, nor do they slide in and out easily. The case snaps together, but not securely. The back of the case keeps snapping open - I have to take all the drawers out to snap it back together. And the lid is very heavy with all the tools in place - ...

Box is Junk, Tools are Good

Like other reviews, the toolbox is junk. Draws stick and tools either are hard to remove and insert or fall out. The tools themselves are pretty good. The adjustable wrenches are flimsy and open up under high torque, slipping off the hex. I have good tools in my shop, but wanted something in the house for little jobs. This set is good for that. The toolbox is becoming frustrating. I will likely end up buying another box to store the tools. For the price the set would have been 5 stars if the too...
