Ratings & Reviews for Kobalt 100 -Piece Chrome Household Tool Set with Hard Case

Excellent Assortment of Good Chinese export tools

There are good and bad points to this toolset. GOOD POINT: 1. Excellent selection of useful tools. 2. REAL SCREWDRIVERS and T drivers 3. Includes Decent PLIERS and WRENCHES 4. Excellent organizer trays BAD POINTS: 1. Weak Plastic case. 2. Small pliers 6-7 inchs 3. Tools lack fit and finish CONCLUSION: This is a good set in combination with a larger socket set, as a home owner toolset or as a ROAD TOOLSET! Recommendations Most users are probably going to own or need a larger socket set, I person...

Horrible, 0/10 Don’t recommend.

This thing is cheap. Draws won’t slid freely, you have to pretty much use a tool to get the screw drivers back into their plastic mold to close the draw. It’s useless. A big plastic box full of tools. You’re better off buying a tool box to put the tools in.

Actual tool box is horrible

This toolbox that the tools come in are junk. The drawers are hard to get back in, you have to force them to close. The drawers will not stay in the tracks, so you have to pull them all out and start from the bottom.

Over all great tool set

The hard case drawers don’t slider very well and the tools don’t snap in there spots very well the tools are amazing.

Great housewarming gift for new homeowners

This was a housewarming gift for my sister and she loved it! She has everything she needs and more for minor home repairs and projects.

Great Organization

I did not purchase this product for myself, but my son-in-law was excited to receive it. He is happy to have a box where everything has a place for organization.

Good selection, great organization.

Having your go to tools all in one place is a godsend. And having each tool have its own specific location helps you keep track of them. The kit lacked only a few essential tools. Rather than running around the house and garage trying to find the right tool for the job I can simply grab that case and the chance is high that what I’m going to need is in it.

Need better drawer design

Nice to have all of my small hand tools in one location but the box design needs some work. You cannot get to all of the tools on the drawers without removing the top trays and pulling out the upper drawers, reaching through the top to access the tools on the drawer trays. The trays do not pull out far enough any other way.

Box

Tools have been good so far, but the box fell apart easily and is no longer able to be used as a toolbox.

Good tools, drawers too close together and rub.

I like the tool assortment. Its a good mix of tools to have at hand on my workbench in the basement. The tools themselves, I would give 4 stars to. Now for the blow-molded tool chest... I really didn't expect much of anything from China. I swear i spent a LOT of time looking for something manufactured in USA. No one builds an assorted tool set in a toolbox. Period! USA only produces multiple socket sets. Some produce pliers only, or screwdrivers only; but I want an assortment with a designate...
