This is a bit best for wood and not masonry. Sure made a nice clean hole in the two by four. I would recommend this product as an addition to any one looking to have a complete set up.
Bits break with to no little pressure!
Would Not RecommendI really never break bits. I Also never wright reviews! I had to do a review on this bad product! Bought this thinking it would be good for drilling a few small holes in a piece of wood. Nope the 1/8 bit broke with just the weight of a normal size drill gun I didn't even have a chance to pull the trigger before it snaped. Thinking that it might just be one defective drill bit I put another 1/8 bit in again and snaped agin just like the first one! DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!
Why? Needs a better overall design.
Would Not RecommendWhy is the quick change holder shaft is bigger than a 1/4" hex drive? Why do the drive bits not lock into 1/4" drive on drill? Why is the case so thick? Case could be half as thick. It takes up A LOT of room in the drill bag for what it holds. Drill bits are ok. Not sure how the pot metal drill bit base will hold up.

Would RecommendThis titanium 3/16 drill bit is very well made with a shank on the end that goes into your drill so it won’t slip like most drill bits. The cut easily and it harder than most drill bit won’t bend easy.

Would RecommendThis drill bit is very strong and super high quality. It works perfectly on an impact drill or standard. The quick connect makes it fast to work with. The bit made short work of drywall straight into the stud. High quality product.
ehh, not a fan of these bits.
so I bought these because I had to get through some concrete blocks. it did not go well. i then moved on to some (admittedly tough) wood projects and still ended up with bends, scratches, and breaks. usually Kobalt is a great value, this might be one of their very few misfires.

Would Not RecommendI bought this because Titanium is supposed to be able to drill through aluminum. I used it on a bathroom exhaust housing and the bit BROKE! It broke within 5 seconds! Definitely would not recommend unless you want to drill holes in doughnuts!

Poor quality kit
Would Not RecommendBought this kit thinking it would serve my weekend needs. Nice kit all in one and nice package. After about 3 months of fairly non-use, broke 3 drill bits and the quick disconnect adapter quit holding drill bits and socket bits. Went to the local Lowe's and asked about a replacement quick disconnect adapter and they said I would need to contact Kobalt to file a warranty claim for replacement. Said because it's part of a kit I would need to contact Kobalt. BUT, Kobalt is owned by Lowe's. What gi...
Two bits snapped off drilling through hard plastic
Would Not RecommendI typically have great luck and results with Kobalt tools and accessories. That was not the case with this bit set. Two of the bits snapped off while drilling through plastic!. I finished the job with one of my old Ryobi bits that worked just fine. These quick change bits sound like a good idea as the shank size of each bit is identical so you don't have to keep adjusting the drill chuck. This set is going back to Lowes!
