Handy tool

Very handy tool to have in the toolbox. Be careful of the ball in locking mechanism, it will come out. Gave it 3 stars because of that but Lowe’s will replace it.

We have about six of these scattered through the house and garage. For Christmas I bought every guy at work one. They make the task easier and faster when then traditionally swapping out drill bits.

Amazing creation

I used to have to bore out for countersinking, which still has its own purpose. But combined, I have used this for cabinet making and it’s incredibly useful. I hope they create more useful tools like this and FOR this, as I’d like to see more for larger wood holes. Great buy!

Great combo set

The combo set is very handy and saves a lot of time. No need to keep changing the bit or the driver or having two separate motors for each function.

Pretty convenient little tool to have

This definitely saves some time when you have multiple pilot holes to drill and then need to use a driver to set them all. So far, it works exactly as I was hoping for.

Decent, not great

This is a great idea but the craftsmanship of it is somewhat poor. The bits themselves work well but when it comes to quickly flipping between the countersink bit and the driver bit is where the problem comes in to play. The bit gets stuck in the quick change housing which makes for "quick" flipping nearly impossible. I had to use visegrips or an actual vice to get it out. I tried to pull it out by hand the first time and my fingers slipped off under an excessive amount of pulling and the counte...

Time saver YES YES YES

This is as good if not better than advertised. It has set screws to change drill bits and drivers bits. Love it! I should have gotten one of these along time ago. Big time saver.

Handy little tool.

Overall I find it to be quite handy, it's saved me a lot of battery power and time having the two together. I purchased this before impacts and quick change outs really took off. I've had the bit going on 7 years and it's still going strong. It works well, but there is some caution: 1. Kobalt doesn't seem to have made a replacement drill bit. You can purchase a 7/64 bit package and grind the bits down to allow the nut to catch better, but it takes a bit of patience. The other caution actually c...

Works great

I would give it 5 stars all around, but the bit holder cannot accept a standard screwdriver bit as well. You need to take the whole thing out and rechuck the driver. It does work really great but for that.

Drill bit broke off half way through the project!

The quality is poor. The drill bit broke off in a 1x4 slat....... When it was in one piece it worked great. I will be returning this item.

Dril bit

The actual dril bit could have been a little longer or let me put my own bit in so I could have drilled a deeper pilot hole.

Handy little bit

I love this item. You can be up on a ladder with only the one tool. I have been putting up panels in my shop and it has saved me numerous steps.
