They work pretty good. Three different sizes in one package and a holding case for them so they are just in the tool bag.

Replacements that should have been the Go To tools

I purchased this set to replace a worn set that I have used for the remodeling of my kitchen. In retrospect, I should have purchased this set in the first place. I used these chisels and they cut like a hot knife through butter. Nice job.

Great chisel set for working on doors

I have these 1941 old brass door knobs and change them to a more updated version of the same set. The chiseled worked great to make adjustments in the catch and knob set.

Nice set of chisels

I needed some new chisels, the handles on my old ones are cracking and I am worried they will break so I decided to give Kobalt a try. I like the feel of the chisels. I used the two smaller ones on a tile removal project (not wood working:) and they worked well. I am pleased with the product so far. Cheers

Wood chisels

Bought these to mortise hinges into a new door frame. Most of the other reviews on here fail to note that wood chisels aren’t shipped sharpened. Regardless of brand you will need to sharpen them first. Either with a whetstone or by someone else (generally chainsaw sharpening locations can do it). And they performed as expected

People shouldn't build if they are not smart

I read the other reviews most say they are not sharp out of the box anyone who is a real carpenter knows your tools have to be sharp and you lap your own chisels even if they are new this is why the real Carpenters have so much trouble because the ones who don't know want to talk people should talk less and learn more the difference between a hack and a Craftsman

Nice for price

I've bought the more expensive Irwins on sale at another chain store. They were a good chisel. I used them everyday over a year. Recently expanded my buisness and needed a few more chisel sets on a budget. I purchased this Kobalt set. I've not been dissatisfied thus far. They've kept up to my standards. All I can say is some tools are only as good as how sharp they're kept. I did a little light honing on them to begin with. If you can't sharpen or hone a chisel, well good luck. This seems every ...
