Excellent Choice for Utility Chisel Set

I'm a professional woodworker and bought this set for utility work so I would not bang up my expensive German joinery chisels. One of my small German chisels costs $20 more than this entire set. The steel on these Kobalt chisels is very hard and holds it's edge even cleaning up some hardened epoxy. The chisel handle accepts mallet blows without damage too. HOWEVER, if you are a newbie to woodworking tools you need to know that a chisel needs to be tuned up before use. You cannot use it right out...

Good tool for the price.

The packaging was a bit tough to remove the tools; however, they were nice and sharp and worked as intended.

Been needing a set

I've personally been in dire need of a chisel set for awhile. Not for work, but for personal use. This may only be a 3 piece set, but these were extremely sharp and durable when removing bark from the live slab while not doing anything i didn't want them to.

Kobalt woodworking chisels

Right out of the pack these chisels were sharper than any I have ever bought. Just a little honing on a leather strap and they cut guitar braces like hot butter. I'm very pleased with them.

Nice chisels

Was picking up new 1/2 chisel when I saw this 3 pack. The great price sold me on picking up 3 new chisels. They work great, nice sharp edge. Only had for a couple weeks and have been using them on soft wood so we will see how well they hold up. But so far, great.
