Great shovel for dealing with roots

Big help with digging in root filled garden bed.

Cuts through the weeds.

This is so much better than a standard shovel to dig up weeds. It has some cutting power when pushed into the ground.

Amazing tool

Tried digging up root of our Crape Myrtle last weekend with a shovel and hand saw. Got a good portion done but kept hitting a hidden root. Needed to complete the task today, so went out and bought this. I had the root dug up in 10-15 minutes. highly recommend this tool, it will save you time and pain from your back!!!!

Beyond impressed!

I needed to clear out two new garden areas. I was using a rotary cultivator and steel tine rake before so that was my first issue but I purchased this and got the job done in a few hours! Worth every penny.

This is a great shovel. It makes short work of roots and I had a lot to cut through. I also like the wide step on the sides. It ensures your foot doesn't slip off.

Game Changer!

This tool gives you a significant advantage over your traditional round shovel when cutting roots around established bushes and landscaping. It even does a good job for the heavier stuff too. We pulled up about 20 shrub/ small tress that were in our beds around the house, and this made the world of difference. 10/10 would recommend.

Does what it should

Used to cut roots and create sod cuts when planting trees. Worked well so far. Ideally should have a little more grip on the handle- but can just add some grip tape to help when driving it with the handle. Seems sturdy.

Works like a hot knife through butter

Bought this after we decided to start our landscape and hardscapes over. we had 2 cypress shrubs, 1 boxwood, 4 rose bushes and around 8 forsythia shrubs to remove and a few invasive species planted by the prior homeowners. Let me tell you, this little shovel here, she cut through a 2 in diameter live root, it took about 10 drives of the biforked head, but she removed every shrub, bush, and tree that needed to go. take a look for yourself...
