Upgrade from a regular shovel for big cleaning

Way better than a regular shovel for removing tough plants. I’ve used it to pull out mature ornamental grasses and rose bushes. I wish the end was more pointy to break through soil easier, but overall a good tool.

I ran into a smilax issue in my backyard and let me tell you those roots are NOT for the weak! This made my life 10x better. It's super easy to handle- I had zero issues getting those suckers out of the ground, and I'm on the shorter end so that was a huge relief. If they made a handheld one I'd buy that one too!

Just get it you can’t go wrong

The ease of using it. I actually was able to cut the roots with no problem. It took me less time than using my regular shovel which I broke. I went to Lowe’s to buy another shovel when I spotted this one. Great product.

Best tool ever!

This shovel did an amazing job digging up several old bushes that were very root bound. The design is amazing, cut right through the roots much better than using a digging bar like I used to.

Best $$ Ever Spent on a Tool!

I couldn't be happier with this tool. It cuts through my tough clay, rocky and root-bound soil easily. I've used it a few hours each day for 5 days removing dead grass (mostly weeds) by hand. It's made the job so much easier than I imagined. I'm a small middle aged female with back issues, but I'm still finding the job easy. Great if you need to clear out weeds.

Great for young saplings or getting rid of weeds. It's sharp enough to chop up larger roots (2-3 inches in diameter), but the handle is a bit flimsy, so ymmv.

The shape and durability of this is amazing. Great to use for digging around plants and it's also awesome to cut grass and then put it back. It makes really straight lines giving you great precision.

Fancy Looking Shovel

It looks really sharp but still requires a significant amount of effort to really cut any roots at all, really feels like it does the same job as a regular spade.

This shovel did a way better job than a standard pointed shovel for digging up some stubborn birds of paradise roots and vine roots in the yard. Made quick work of it!

I usually us a pick axe to tear out nagging roots from weeds but this tool slices right through them making it a breeze to take them out. This is a great product for taking out roots!

This product is amazing. It was exactly what I needed. split right down the fiberglass shaft

trying to get a stump out, it split right down the fiberglass shaft. It was in a epic battle against a tree root and the tree root won. not so much a slayer. The blade itself is really good but unfortunately the shaft proved to be the weak point.

Excellent tool for plant removal

It made short work of a Crepe Myrtle I’d been trying to dig out for weeks. I tried using a regular spade and little hand saw but wasn’t able to remove it. Took literally less than 5 minutes with this tool, worth every penny!
