Disappointed!!!
Would Not RecommendI bought this tool a little over a month ago and at same time purchased new CAT6. To my surprise I have been unsuccessful in creating simple patch cables thinking it was either my cable or bad set of RJ45s. I’m now sitting here with an expensive Klein paperweight and very disappointed!!! Very heavy duty tool which I want to love but hate because it does not work properly.

I bought this crimper based on the functions it had combined in a compact size. Other users shown here seemed to have some problems with it, Maybe a faulty lot ? Made backwards
Would Not RecommendNo grip on the bottom. And cannot use your palm for more pressure to crimp with. Every tool like these have been made backwards in my opinion for crimping hundreds of plugs in the work i do. The way they are designed are flawed and expect people to only use there thumbs for pressure and more difficult. Pins 1&2 consistently failing to crimp
Would Not RecommendI bought this tool and the first 2 cables I made had no issues. I then went to crimp another 15 cables and all fail crimping the 1&2 pins. I have the explorer tester and it shows all cables are good, except when I plug them in to the device, nothing works. I then bought the scout pro 3 tester to see what was going on and all 15 cables show 1&2 wires failed. I'm using the Klein modular pass through cat 6 connectors as per manufacturer specs. Doesn't Crimp well
Would Not RecommendGot this for installing voip phone system through out a 32,000sq. Installed all wires, then put all the ends on. I had about a 50% fail rate. I thought it was the wire, but that was fine. Tried a couple of different ones. Then the ends, tried about 3 different brands still no luck. Went back to my old VDV226-011 and cut the ends with a knife, and they worked fine. I did test with a LAN Scout JR. 2 and tests came back ok. I just don't think the crimp is deep enough

Would Not RecommendTool does not push the pins for 1 and 2 all the way down and therefore there is no connection to the wire. If you look in the pic you will notice the last two pins aren't pushed in fully.

Would Not RecommendI bought this about a month ago, mainly because I had accidentally gotten a huge batch of pass through connectors. I took it to a job in a fairly rote location up north. I had not tried it yet, relying on klein's reputation. The 1st time I used it, the cutter didn't fully trim the ends, leaving a little plastic, and 3 wire ends. It did this for every crimp. I have to cut the leaving with a razor knife, and I have to replace over 1/2 my crimps, where before I had a 75-85%pass rate. Sure it's beca...
