Would RecommendExcellent for making ethernet cables. Came with a handy-dandy laminated reference card, and basic pin-outs are right on the tool itself for ready-reference. You must use Klein's "pass thru" connectors, but those are competitively priced, and available at Lowes.

Mixed Feelings About This Crimper
This crimper is limited in its use to the pass-through style RJ-45 connectors. Good thing I have a separate crimper for nonpass-through connectors as I use both in my job. Keep this in mind when purchasing the crimper, or the RJ-45 crimps.
