Ratings & Reviews for Klein Tools Compact Green Planar Self-Leveling Laser Level

Fine for indoors

Works well in enclosed spaces, although to be fair, I don't have any indoor lines of sight long enough to test the 100 feet claim. That said, it doesn't work very well outside during the day, even in the shade. From what I understand as a newbie to laser levels, this should be expected for all but the top dollar laser levels that use recievers to read the laser mark outside during the day (because you can't see those lines either?). Removed 1 star because I think laser level sellers should b...

Awesome laser level

This thing is awesome, I see no reason to spend twice the price for the red brand (i had theirs aswell). It has a usb-c charger and the battery lasts for hours.

The green laser is difficult to see.

I liked the self-leveling feature and how easy it is to lock/unlock the level. The green laser is easier to see than the red. However, in the daylight, it is still very difficult to see at more than 10 feet.

Klein tools laser alignment tool

For a small scale diy’er this is the tool that will make your life easier. I have only used the tool indoors, laser is plenty bright. Have yet to use outside.

Holds a charge all day

Super easy

Great Value Laser Level

I’m pleased with this laser level. It makes doing layouts quick and easy. I’m glad a purchased it even though the description didn’t give all the features that I was looking for. It turns out that it did. Pros: Comes in a soft case for easy protection and storage. Can be mounted to a standard 1/4” threaded tripod. Long use time on a single charge. Self leveling Clear bright lines Cons: Swivels too easily on its base Lines get washed out in daylight Overall, it’s a great laser level at a grea...

Surprisingly great laser level.

The unit is VERY well built. Has a hefty and solid feel ; not cheap plastic, flimsy feel. Easy to store due to compact size, and easy, quick setup easy to use. Like ability to use planes separately. Extremely satisfied with product, and worth the price, considering the value.

Dont bother

Battery is half dead when you buy it, wont charge up. Only get an hour at most out of it.

Laser not strong enought

Product is good, however the laser is not strong enough to use during the day or outside

Its a good and affordable laser

Very good

Best laser level

Ease of use

Be careful buying from Lowes

The tool is great but the one I bought in store was used. I didn’t realize it until I got home since the associate carried it to the front for me. I opened the box and the level is all dusty and the cord isn’t wrapped up. I basically paid full price for a used tool. If Lowe’s will give me a discount, I’ll keep it. Otherwise, I’m returning it and purchasing else where

Nice bright lines, easy to see, why did I wait?

Bought this laser level to hang blinds and it works pretty well. Has nice, bright, thin green lines that are easy to see, just turn on whichever plane you need to use. Compared it to my 4 foot level and it's pretty level. I'm sure it will come in handy for many jobs down the road.
