Ratings & Reviews for Klein Tools Compact Green Planar Self-Leveling Laser Level
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this laser level for its bright green lines, accuracy, and exceptional value for indoor DIY and professional projects. Many highlight the reliable self-leveling feature, ability to activate individual planes, compact design, and all-day battery life. Reviewers consistently call it professional-grade performance at a fraction of premium alternatives, with durable build quality and thoughtful features like USB-C charging. However, some report the laser becomes invisible outdoors in daylight, and several note magnet reliability issues. Despite these limitations, most customers consider it an excellent investment for indoor work.

Excellent but lock unit before handling/moving.
Would RecommendThis product is compact, with a pretty powerful laser that makes the projected lines visible in all but the brightest sunshine. The self-leveling feature is wonderful but responsible ownership requires the feature to be locked when moving the unit. This is an optical instrument, not just another screwdriver or pliers in the toolbox and it needs to be respected and handled as such. I give it FIVE stars!

great for the price
Would RecommendI've used the Bosch 330 12v. works the same minus fine adjustments. for 200 I'd buy it all day unless you absolutely need fine tune adjustments then I would go Bosch. battery last forever and it's USB c which is pretty common. carry bag and foam insert is great also. if it breaks I'm buying another.
Awful
Would Not RecommendI bought this $215 laser lever and when I got home and took it out of the box, I realized it was USED. Loews sold it to someone else who returned it and without even looking at it they p[ut it back in the locked cage. Unbelievable! Return!
