Top half of shelf freezes food

I purchased this refrigerator in June 2026. I will share the pros and cons of KRSC536RPS. Pros: Aesthetically is nice. Great lighting, nice gray color on the inside of the fridge. The ice cubes are a small but nice size that fit into water bottles. The exterior of the unit is eye pleasing as well. Cons: The refrigerator is a bit louder than my previous Samsung. Almost perfect counter depth

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Almost perfect side by side counter depth fridge. A little too noisy when making ice, not enough options for adjusting shelves, interior is easily scratchable. Other than those, I'm very happy with the appliance and it's cooling capabilities.

Great capacity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrig is the best one I have owned. One pull out shelf along with 3 drawers. Great water and ice dispenser. Cooling is efficient. Finish doesn’t show all the fingerprints of older models. Lighting is wonderful!

Broken over and over

Bought this fridge 8 months ago. It looks nice, but it has completely stopped working three times now, each for a different reason and leaving us without a fridge for weeks on end. Not a quality refrigerator. Don’t waste your money!

Another KitchenAid refrigerator Breakdown

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Bought this same fridge design 14 years ago. Unfortunately had to order another one because of width restrictions. This one’s gear that dispenses ice sheared in half . Poor quality metal casting. Waiting for 3 weeks for a part is unacceptable. Our first fridge was replaced within its first month. Is that the only solution?

Little Details Matter

For KitchenAid I am a little disappointed in the quality including the loudness and the thinner plastic shelves, and drawers and no adjustable shelves and inability to pull the shelves out further. I expected more. I do like the extra space in the refrigerator. Because they give you two small shelves and leave one out which gives you extra space, I actually purchased 3 additional extra wide door shelves on KitchenAids website for $128 each for almost an additional $500. Great refrigerator!

There were no instructions on the panel itself or in the manual. It just takes a brief push. My one suggestion would be to put this instruction on the panel and in the manual.

Beautiful fridge

I also really like the water dispenser, it is taller than my last one so I can get a water bottle underneath it. It also has preset ounce settings for autofill that are nice. Ice maker is also great. Water line extremely slow! Shelf placement limited

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered replacement Kitchen Aid frig same brand as my 16 year old frig water in the door, counter depth sight unseen. I never imagined how BAD the capacity, limited shelf placement on frig side, & super slow water from the external water source on door. We’ve had a plumber out twice confirming our water line is not clogged. The options for larger shelf space is nill! I’m so disappointed.

Great features & color

The door trays and drawer bins work well and have more capacity than expected. Love the slide out tray also. Would have preferred a butter keeper or compartment. Refrigerator looks great with wall oven and over kitchen.

Great Refrigerator

Great Fridge

It has great interior lighting and the capacity is adequate with easy access to all areas. The pull out tray is a nice feature and very functional. We love the ice maker and cube shape.

Great look, plenty of space, and works perfectly!

I was a little worried about the inside space with a counter-depth model, but it’s actually really well laid out and holds quite the amount of groceries. It cools with great precision, the ice and water dispenser works perfectly, the inside lighting is great, and it runs pretty quiet and energy efficient. No complaints at all.
