Styling with KitchenAid

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We loved the style and detail of this refrigerator so much that we are taking a chance this new one will live up to our expectations. We bought the whole matching set in 2016, so when the first refrigerator gave us nothing but problems making ice and keeping freezer cold enough and many service calls, we called it quits. Praying now this new model with the same outside look is the answer. Love the new pull out deli shelf, all the storage room...

Kitchenaid is my first choice!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a Kitchenaid guy and likely always will be. Love the style, ease of use and how well built it is. The double doors and ample space make it a great addition to my kitchen.

Attractive unit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very attractive unit. I love that it measures fluids and lets you how many ounces you are at when getting water. Nice feature! Shelving is a little awkward making it difficult to make large items fit. I have had this fridge for 3 months and so far so good. Purchased without physically seeing the unit. Only saw as counter depth on the storeroom floor

Temperatures Unreliable and too high

The fridge has been plugged in for about a week or so and already both the Refrigerater compartment and the Freezer compartment will not hold temperature. When set at 34 F, the lowest temp the refridgerator compartment gets is 47.8 F (2 thermometers) but it fluxuates up to 57 F When set at -2, the lowest temp the freezer compartment gets is 9 F (2 thermometers) but it fluxuates up to 11 F. I'm waiting and hoping to get a call back for service.

Improvement needed to secure trays.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The design of the various trays to hold food items is not very robust and is subject to falling out. There should be a lock mechanism rather than just a hook insert into the slot. When opening the refrigerator doors, the tray is vulnerable to be falling out of the slot if not carefully when placing items in and out of the tray or when opening the ice box. In fact the tray that is attached to the ice box recently popped out of its slots and fell...

Great features and accessibility

Loud ice maker !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ice maker is very loud when the ice is being ejected from tray and the water fill for the ice maker is very loud as well. Its getting louder as time goes by.

Ice Machine isues resolved

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Has taken 2 months to resolve ice machine and condensation issues. Working as expected - now. Great internal space, adequate volume of ice produced and flexibility in shelf configuration to meet our needs.

New fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love everything about this refrigerator except the freezer tracking. It is not smooth in any sense of the word,the upper drawer & the main drawer both make an almost grinding sound when opening and closing. Other than that the rest of the unit is AMAZING! From the huge interior to the abundant ice maker,this fridge is exactly what we were looking for. The reason for the four star rating is that only God gets five stars!

Overall nice with couple flaws

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My refrigerator is very nice overall. There continues to be moisture on the bottom seal between the refrigerator and freezer. I have to wipe it everyday. It’s done that way since day one. To pull out the right shelf, you have to open both doors. Not a great design. My last refrigerator was built with that in mind. Open only one door to pull out shelf.

The replacement has worked great No issues so far

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] yes finally after months got a replacement got a replacement for my refrigera the replacement has worked great the replacement has worked great now getting a new one of these any any chance do you keep records the exception of this man tor that had issues all was justp invaded pairs and parts finally finally got a replacement thanks to the Tech here in El Paso Tx !

Quality

Our model KRFF577KPS02 went out shy of 3 years of purchasing it. I thought Kitchenaid was high end of the medium quality refrigerators. They do not warranty their product for more than a year or two? I am extremely disappointed with the refrigerator. They are supposed to last around 9 years from what I’m told.

COOL FRIG

Bad design: ice and water in refrigerator door

We bought this fridge new a month ago. It started leaking water through the ice dispenser within a few days. The water runs down the face of the door onto the freezer drawer then onto the floor. The ice in the ice bin melts because it sits inside the refrigerator compartment (not the freezer), then gravity takes over. The appliance store says it is a bad design by Kitchenaid and there is no way to fix it. Without being fixed, I expect it will soon rust, look horrible, and fail. We are tremendous...

Decent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fridge is good, water dispenser aerates the water or something. I have tried new filters, and the same thing happens. So you when you fill a glass of water it does not look clear, after it sits for a min it goes clear. Disappointing since last fridge (LG) did not do this, and I bought this new kitchen Aid always hearing kitchen Aid was top of the line :(

Stay away

KitchenAid is over priced and shouldn’t be considered a quality brand. For our new home We bought the entire kitchen as kitchen aid and this was the biggest regret of our build. These appliances should be the lowest priced, as all we’ve had is issues with them. The refrig ice maker never worked properly and has been replaced twice. The freezer drawer gaskets are screwed up and we routinely end up with wasted product from freezer burn or thawed product. Plastic flimsy Freezer drawers both b...

Poor Owners/Installation manual

Undoubtably the worst owners manual / installation manual I have ever received with a product. The one provided covers 5 different type refrigerators and does not show my particular model very well.
