I hate that this KitchenAid dishwasher experience is making me write a review. I’ve used their products for years and without issue. Until now. I purchase appliances for clients and I’ve always felt there are a few KitchenAid appliances I’d personally purchase. This is one of those. Horrible QC

The tine row rusted in under 4 years. With crazy expensive replacement for a piece of metal that I can't even be sure that they will get right this time around. Also did you know Kitchenaid no longer covers the nylon and vinyl dishracks for the 2-5 years period? Kitchenaid isn't what it used to be.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher is so quiet that I have to look for the light to make sure it is running. My dishes come out very clean, and I am loving the 3rd rack at the top. It is very nice-looking as well. The only thing I would change is the rinse-aid dispenser. My previous dishwasher had a dial that allowed adjustment of the dispensed amount of rinse-aid depending on water hardness, drying performance, etc.

Stopped cleaning after 2 years

I bought this maximum capacity dishwasher because (at the time of purchase) I had 7 children. It stopped cleaning after 2 years. I keep trying east fixes to get it to work but none of those work. Now I'm trying to decide if I want to pay for a replacement circulation pump and hope that fixes it...

Awesome dish washer

Sparkling clean dishes love the handle

The stainless finish is lovely and I like the handle better than this years model new handle design. The only place they could improve is the bottom rack. I wish there was some adjustment to allow the plates to angle slightly back so they don’t fall forward when you pull the rack out partially loaded. This is a problem on many dishwashers. Very quiet , great cleaning

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have one great room with the kitchen, dining living room, and the dishwasher is super quiet. You can’t hear it running, which is what we needed. We’ve always had Bosch dishwashers but this new KitchenAid is amazing very well built, and it has a lot of room more than most. it’s amazing at the amount of stuff you can put in this dishwasher and they always come out sparkling

Great features and low noise

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Happy with the dishwasher. It delivers exactly what it is supposed to. Lot of different options to accommodate your stuff. Low noise, sometimes need to come closer to hear if it’s working or not. Only highlight the control panel should be more intuitive, spent some time to understand it.

Do not buy

I have had for less than a year and had technician out twice and will need them a third time as it will not finish a cycle with having an error. This is very disappointing for the price point.

3 trays the third rack

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this on Jan. 23, 2026 because our first unit we bought went out after 13 days of use. They couldn't get the parts needed to fix it so they exchanged the first one for this one. So far it is this one is doing a great job.

Dishes come out super clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher gets everything extremely clean. I thought my old dishwasher was good. We only replaced it because of a remodel. These dishes come out much cleaner than my old one. The silverware container that runs the length of the dishwasher on the right hand side is my only thing that I’m not too excited about. 5 Year experience- Not so good

Every 10 or 15 cycles, machine freezes between wash and final rinse.Have to cancel and enter a "false" rinse cycle to drain. Random glitch. 3. Rinse aid dispenser dumps entire load after a refill. Useless. Machine installed 2020.

Disappointing

I called KitchenAid and after 57 minutes speaking with 2 reps I was disconnected and no one called back. I called again on January 2nd and was told they couldn't find a service person in my zip code and would refer this for a more in-depth search and I would hear something within 3 days.
