I recently purchased the 550. It arrived nicely packaged and no damage. I purchased the unit to use camping with a ResMed 10 CPAP. I tested the unit without heat or humidity and the ResMed only used 27% after 7 hrs. I tested again using heat and humidity and it only used 46%. Perfect for my needs. The Zackery service team are wonderful! They responded to multiple email questions and in a timely manner. Very pleased with the 550 and 100W solar panels.

Based upon the reviews and blogs it was difficult to know the power usage for my CPAP, which is a ResMed 10. I charged the 550 and used it for seven hours without the humidity and heat being used. jackery 1500 did not work

system didnt work. it would not charge. jackery would not return emails or phone calls. customer service was non existent.

Watts needed for use.

Very user-friendly and easy to use. Powers up nicely with solar panels, car or electrical outlet and lasts through the night for my needs.

Good for what use it for.

I think it's very nice and it works for what I do with it. I have many low voltage things like cell phones and USB lights and other things to recharge in case of power outages. This allows me to use a solar panel also in case of a long term event. I have other things like Kerosene heaters for heat and wood stove. I just dinged it a point for price, but 4 stars overall for ease of use and quality.

Jackery JSG-1500B AWESOMENESS!

Was skeptical at first; it was a lot of money; but the smelly and extremely loud generators can’t live up to the Jackery JSG-1500B! Haven’t had a serious emergency; but I’ve taken it out to the middle of nowhere and it worked like a champ! Never had to be concerned about having no power! I love the (4) solar panels and the power to run heavy appliances when needed! Im always gonna have a Jackery Solar Generator from now on!

best backup system!!!

I usually dont take the time to write reviews but I had to for this product. We live in the New Orleans area and I hate the thought of being without power every huricane season. We usually put the solar panels on our windows and they charge the battery while we are using it for fans, to charge phones, and to maintain the refrigerator on for a few hours as a backup. I originally purchased the Jackery 550 as a backup to my existing 5,000W gas generator. I decided to purchase this as a layer of protection in case there was a fuel shortage, or in case there was inflation and I could not afford to buy fuel. Life Saver

I bought the Jackery because my husband uses a Oxygen concentrator and CPAP to sleep. If the electric goes out the CPAP machine will run off the Jackery. (Just the CPAP machine NOT the concentrator) I can rest now knowing my husband will be safe in the power goes out.

Works Well

I bought this to power my Cpap machine when power is out. I've used it for a few nights as a test and it works well. I turned off the humidifier on the Cpap machine to reduce the amount of power it uses. The Cpap uses about 1/3 of the power source during 8 hours of use and recharges to 100% in about 90 minutes.

Be sure your unit is right sized the application.

We use it camping off-grid in our RV. We watch our 32" TV for over 5 hours with no problems.

Seems like a quality piece of equipment.

Well-made, solid, but not too heavy. Great handle. Screen is easy to read. Has a flashlight built in, which is a nice extra. It charged up really fast on the wall outlet. Did okay on the solar panel.
