What Customers Are Saying
The tri-flute drill bits are generally considered high-quality and effective for drilling holes in wood. Customers praised the bits' ability to quickly and cleanly bore holes, even in harder woods, thanks to the efficient chip removal and smooth cutting action of the tri-flute design. While a few users noted the bits dulled relatively quickly or preferred traditional 2-flute bits for certain applications, the majority of customers were very satisfied with the quality, performance, and overall value of this drill bit set.

Would RecommendSee my review of these same bits, but in the smaller 3-bit set. These bits are a great idea and combine the features of spiral flutes from traditional auger bits to lift out chips and a screw tip to pull it into the wood; and the speed of a speed bore bit -- all that plus a third cutting edge to cut even faster! May be too aggressive for finer work if not enough edge distance to the endgrain edge (ie: splitting).
