Augers bits
Would Not RecommendI'm not very pleased with how quickly these were full after just a few holes. I wouldn't buy these again.

Not as advertised in photo
Would Not RecommendPhoto shows a blue coating to help eliminate wood from sticking to shaft flutes. The Irwin speedbor I purchased locally did not have the "reduced friction" coating. Make sure you purchase the new improved version of the speedbor. Some old inventory is still on the shelves at local stores.

Much better than a classic spade bit
Would RecommendThese bits work very well – they pull right through the wood as you’re drilling, so much so in fact, that they can get away from you if you’re not careful. The hole isn’t quite as clean as a Forstner bit, but it is much more effective than a classic spade bit.

Torque
Would RecommendThese bits have a LOT of torque. My dcd996p2 and my dad’s m18 fuel hammerdrill both torqued out and shut down at over 80% battery. The only drill that didn’t was our 9 amp corded Dewalt, and even that was super slow. It also split the boards I was test drilling. Don’t drill at the edge. Holes were clean up until that, though. Good bits if you have a high torque rated drill.
