Would RecommendI needed to install the self closing hinges. worked exactly ad it should on melamine. I bought this as a one off as I normally don't need bits of this size which is the most expensive method to buy bits. I would have bought the set from Irwin if I used large bits more frequently. All in all, great bit and a fair price for a single bit.

IRWIN bits used to be made in Austria

Better than the same diameter bit in the 18x kit
Would RecommendI bought this to supplement the lower quality 2” bit from the 18 piece kit. While the kit’s bit is sufficient for occasional use, this bit knocked out 100 2” holes without any issues. It’s not as smooth as the more expensive waved variations but it gets the job done.
