Would Not RecommendThe center post was way too long so much so to get the depth it would have gone through door. What were they thinking. I had to grind down the post and lose its cutting edges.

Right out of the packaging this forstner bit worked exactly like I needed it to. it cuts nice clean, smooth holes, with minimal sanding afterwards. Will definitely look into purchasing more Irwin Marples forstner bits if I need additional sizes.

Would RecommendBest drill bit I’ve ever bought. I was making so, me cap racks for my daughter who was giving them as Christmas presents. They included drilling 10, 1-1/2” holes in a 3 ft 2x4 times 6, after the first try with my cheap foreign forstner bit set, I gave up and went to Lowe’s and grabbed a new marbles bit.
