Irwin Marples great value
I use these in drill press. Take my time and these work just fine. I use sacrifice board and these bites result in nice and smooth bores. Take care of these and they last for years. I highly recommend Irwin Marples products. Note: I am a novice woodworker with small garage shop.

Perfect Holes
Would RecommendI am building a home theater and need to run wiring through a lot of studs. Tried the Irwin Speedbor bits, but it look a lot of forward and reverse back and forth action on my drill to get through 2x6 studs. This Forster bit goes right through without stopping. It doesn't get stuck like the Speedbor or standard Irwin auger bits do. You still need to apply pressure to push the bit through... but much easier in my opinion. Highly recommended. My only complaint is that the shank is round, and...
Good clean bit for removing plugs
Would RecommendGot this to remove 1/2" wood plugs in a all wood door. Plugs were covering screws. Bit is super sharp and precise. Worked well without harming wood outside of perimeter.
