This was my first forstner bit and WOW! Such a cleaner hole than a spade bit. I should have done more reading before buying so many spade bits.

Cutting edges rough, and not sharp
Upon removing the bit from packaging, I saw that the cutting edges were very rough. It looked like it had been heavily used. I am disappointed in Irwin for allowing this tool to pass inspection.
