Cutting edges rough, and not sharp
Would Not RecommendUpon removing the bit from packaging, I saw that the cutting edges were very rough. It looked like it had been heavily used. I am disappointed in Irwin for allowing this tool to pass inspection.

Sharp and clean holes
Would RecommendBit makes quick holes in 3/4 inch birch plywood easy. Best results with drilling an 1/8 inch hole all the way through then drilling with Forstner bit half way through. Flip over and complete the hole. This avoids splintering. Would buy again.
