Doesn't last

I bought 8 of these fans online at Menard's 14 months ago. They were installed less than a year ago. Two have already quit working. One started to smell like melted plastic, so I'm sure the motor is fried.

Dim lights

On this model the lights are dim. It is because of the globe is darker, The White fixtures are fine. I recommend to install 75watt Led lamps. I used the lohas brand because it fits and works well. I got these LOHAS Daylight LED Candelabra Bulbs, E12 Base 5000K, 75W Light Bulb Equivalent8W. A big improvement!. Do not install larger filament lamps. They will not work and may damage the over current device. And this was on sale!

Hunter ceiling fan with light

This 52 inch 5 blade fan is very attractive. The blades are reversible to compliment any room decor. It is extremely quiet when in operation too. I am very pleased with my purchase.

This was the easiest fan to install. The snap on blades made for a quick assembly. This unit is very quiet

Another Light failure

I wish I had read all of the reviews before purchasing this fan. We first attempted to replace our ceiling fan with a different one from Home Depot. The ceiling mount was very cheaply made. The mount bent and the fan fell from the ceiling within 2 days. We returned that fan and purchased this one from Lowe’s. We didn’t care that it took more than 5 minutes to install. Thus fan is junk!

Bought this Hunter fan because of the Hunter reputation. The lights blew in less than a year. Not the bulbs, the light assembly. Like a fool, I bought another one (because it matched the bar lights).I just figured the first one was a lemon--after all, this was HUNTER. The 2nd fan blew just like the first in less than 2 years. I'm done with Hunter!

Missing and Wrong Parts

I think the fan will work out ok but the rating is for the missing and incorrect parts. Took 2 calls and shipments from Hunter to get the right parts. Original fan had a broken pull chain that had wires spliced and electrical taped. Hunter said that’s not how they ship them. Was also missing the globe holder and light bulbs. The globe was for a different fan and would not fit this model. Just check the box for tampering. Hunter said this happens sometimes at the store where parts are taken from ...
