What Customers Are Saying
The ceiling fan electrical box is generally easy to install and use, with a solid and sturdy construction that can securely support the weight of a ceiling fan. Many customers found the setup straightforward, with the box sliding into the existing hole and extending as needed. However, some users encountered challenges such as short screws, difficulty aligning the box, or issues with the adjustable rod design. The product may not work as well for certain ceiling types like those with trusses instead of joists.

The brackets snapped as soon as it was put into place. Very cheaply made.

Perfect tool for installation without attic access
Would RecommendWorked exactly as described. My joists were 24” apart, which is the widest the brace will go. It easily latched onto the joists and held the new fan sturdily. The hole needed was so small, it is easily covered by the base of the fan.

A perfect solution for old construction
Would RecommendWorked very well. I actually bought 2 of these. It worked well for an 18” space. It also worked for the 24” space, but has a little movement due to the further span.

Came with the wrong electrical box
Would RecommendSeems like a good product overall. Easy to install and feels sturdy. My only complaint is that the first one we bought came with an electrical box that did not have the keyhole slots for the screws needed to attach to the brace. We had to exchange it for a new one that had the right electrical bix. So, I’d recommend looking inside the bix before buying to be sure it has the electrica bix with keyhole slots.
