Nice kit

Nice kit, well priced, works but color differential could be better.

Does not test for free chlorine - useless

This kit is very misleading and essentially completely useless. It does not test for free chlorine - only combined chlorine. But it does not make this distinction anywhere at ALL on the instructions. If you follow the instructions, you will not be balancing your pool water correctly at all -- as I discovered. This entire kit is WORSE than USELESS. It is DANGEROUS. Returning for a refund.

Great kit! It works!

I became a new spa owner in July and had a terrible time getting my levels right. I've purchased 6 different kinds of strips that were all over the place. none were really consistent.so I got this testing kit. it really helped me fine tune and get my levels straight! Taylor kit was a nightmare!

Testing water

I'm using the Pool test kit for my new water system that I had installed at my home, the EcoWater/saltwater water softener. All the water falls within the parameters for clean/clear water, And it tastes great too!

The accurate way to measure you pool water

It was a lot more accurate than those test strips I've always used. However, the cyanuric acid reagent was in too small a bottle. You need a lot more to be able to make several measurements.

Lots of tests available in one kit

This is a great and very comprehensive water testing kit. All of the tests you’ll need to make are available in this kit. The pH display window only goes down to 6.8 so not a great pick for hydroponics but should be good with a supplemental ph color chart.

Great test kit

those who complain about it being a paper sheet, you have a camera on your phone. take a picture before you start using it. I agree it shluld be plastic, but it isn't.

No Free Chlorine test, same sized bottles

The biggest problem with this kit is that it tests for Total Chlorine but not Free Chlorine (aka: Available Chlorine). The instructions state it tests for "Total Chlorine" but then those same instructions state the "Acceptable Range for Balance" as "Available Chlorine 1-4ppm". Why would you list the Acceptable range for a pool chemistry and not provide the test to test for it? The next issue with this kit is that all of the testing fluid containers are the same size but you never use the sam...

Great pool test kit

This is a great test kit with enough supplies for a season of tests or more. Only 2 tests for stabilizer, but that shouldn't be needed more than a couple times a season. Easy enough for my preteen and teen to use also. We haven't used the hardness/calcium test as we have an aboveground vinal pool and it's not necessary. The rest of the tests are easy to use, clear directions, and straight forward to read the results.

Liked this test kit because it does 2 more different tests than the look alike competitors. Hardness and chlorine stabilizer. To tell the truth I very rarely used the competitors total chlorine test only the free chlorine test.
