Would Not RecommendAt first this was easy to spread. But after starting to set , the compound shrank and let signiicant gaps. It was more enough to seem level and allow flooring.

Would Not RecommendJust wasted too much money and a whole afternoon fighting with this wet sand. Avoid it like the plague. It's very dry from the start, and almost instantly starts drying more. It sticks to the tools but doesn't stick to the floor. You get about 2 minutes to apply and smooth, after that, the more you do, the worse it gets. Then we have the real issue, it's way too gritty. It's like sticky sand. Forget about nice smooth finishes and level floors. Great product if you want an extremely rough ...

Does NOT dry in 2 - 3 hours
The product is described as "Fast setting – dries in 2 to 3 hours". I laid a coat about 1/4" to 1/8" thick...only the top crusted in 2- 3 hours. It took at least 8 hours for it to completely harden.

Would RecommendI got a gallon to level an old concrete slab under my filthy carpet (which is going away). I used it with a trowel that had a fine sawtooth edge (not a notched trowel) and it was easy-peasy. Seems to be finely sanded, that's okay and does not interfere with spreading. The gallon I got off the shelf had a few tablespoons worth of hardened material under the cover, but the rest was of even, speadable consistency, like peanut butter.
