What Customers Are Saying
The product appears to have quality and durability issues, with the auger bit and extensions frequently breaking or malfunctioning, even during initial use. Many customers reported the bit getting stuck in walls, requiring them to damage the drywall to retrieve it. The quick-connect features also did not function as expected, leading to further frustration. While a few reviewers found it suitable for soft wood or simple tasks, the overall consensus is that the product has a high failure rate and is not recommended.

Would Not RecommendI was hoping to save myself the hassle of patching walls so I bought this kit to drill some holes while running some cat 6 cables. On the very first hole the auger bit dug into the wood then sheered the long rod off the connector part. After opening the wall I was able to attach the short rod to the auger bit, but it twisted when I tried to back the auger bit out. I ended up using a paddle bit with the short rod to finish the hole, but now I have to patch up the wall. Very disappointed. What sh...
It is about time. This is a great product
Would RecommendBuy the shorty Miliwakee paddle bit set to go with this. It is a flex bit with changable heads. It works great in soft wood up to 1in. In old wood up to about 3/4. I am an electrical contractor. This saved me hours. Limitations: Do not put a really sharp bend in the bit and run it at high speed for any period of time. It will heat up to red hot and lose all of it's spring qualities, run it slow if you need to. I am on my second set but I got my money's worth out of it already for sure.
