Ratings & Reviews for Google Nest Cam with Floodlight - Outdoor Wired Smart Security Camera

Works Great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this to replace an old flood light on my back porch. The video image is pretty good, even in night vision. The motion detection works over 30 feet away to one side which was much better than I was expecting. The flood lights are very bright for how small they look. Probably my favorite feature is that it still has an internal battery. This flood light is on a light switch and my kids often turn it off. So having the battery backup built i...

A must have for everyone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really feel like everyone with a home should own one of these Nest cameras. It is so useful an convenient to use on a daily basis. It took a little time for my husband to wire it in where our old floodlight was but once it is wired, it never needs to be charged or anything. We use it daily to check the house when we’re at work. Keep and eye on packages that have been delivered and see who is knocking on our door. We’re able to look back ...

What we needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very happy to receive a nest cam so I could compare it to my other brand of security light camera. I found this to be very easy to install and operate. I also think that it's better than a ring because we didn't have to pay anything extra to review our footage and it appears to have a decent amount of storage.

Another great addition to our Nest family!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very easy to set up and the instructions are clear and easy to follow. I love that you can add faces so it knows our family! It will also make the distinction between people and vehicles which is great for where we have it set up. The picture is clear and easy to see, even in the dark.

Clear pictures and has many options

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed a flood light and camera for our backyard for awhile now and is very glad to have gotten the Nest Cam Floodlight. Like any Google product there is a video of step by step instructions on how to set up the camera. It was very easy to follow and all parts were provided. It took us less than half an hour to connect the floodlight cam. I was really amazed at how the camera sticks to the floodlight with magnet only, yet it was very stu...

Fantastic security device!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Google’s Nest Cam with Floodlight is amazing!!! I always struggle to find a good camera alone, and a good floodlight alone, but finding the 2 together was a huge win for us. The initial setup was fairly easy. My husband is a slightly above average handyman, and he was able to complete the install himself with no issues. The directions are very well laid out and easy to follow. Once we got the install completed, it was as simple as following t...

Peace of mind!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We added this Nest floodlight camera on our vacation cabin. It's given me more peace of mind now that we can see what is happening while we are away. The picture is very clear and we love that we can edit the viewing areas, as well as learn to recognize faces! Great product and we will be adding more to it.

Needed a floodlight Cam

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hadn’t decided on a floodlight camera until I saw the Google Nest camera. Nest is a name that is well known when it comes to electronics and security. This floodlight upheld the reputation and functionality. I like that you can choose what you want the camera to detect humans, animals etc., so it doesn’t just cut on when an insect fly’s past it. I would recommend it to my family and friends.

AMAZED!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely cannot believe how perfect the camera is! Everything comes out very clear and not pixelated like most cameras are. The night vision works great as well. There are only a few wires that need to be attached and also a few screws, so it’s a quick and easy installation. I would estimate that it took me about 30 minutes or so. The instructions are pretty straight forward.

My favorite security system yet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this floodlight but Google Nest! So easy to install and use with my phone or tablet, flood light provides perfect light without being cumbersome and tue video quality Is superb. I have used several different systems as a builder and this is my favorite so far!

Yay

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just received the this and still learning all its functions, but I love the best product and name, and look forward to all of its features for our safety of the house. Love the flood light features with the camera.

Great camera and floodlight!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great camera with a flood light attached. We have had many outdoor cameras and a couple with flood lights and this one is my favorite. For one it looks nice and premium as compared to others. It also has a ton of features - now you do have to pay a monthly fee for the camera but most of the cameras out there that are cloud enabled do as well - so its not a deal breaker for me.

Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first Nest Cam. I have a whole system comprised of Arlo cameras and Wyze cameras, so I was excited to test out what the "big dogs" at Google/Nest had to offer. I have to say...I absolutely love it. The app is easy and wonderful to use. I haven't experienced any glitches like I do with Arlo and Wyze. And the floodlights are so wonderful and bright. I really love this camera. I'm considering replacing some of my main Arlo cameras with ...

Great product with some limitations

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With a growing family, I have been on the search for products to improve my home’s safety and security. I was intrigued by how the Google Nest Cam with Floodlight seemed to successfully combine features to enhance the functionality of both into one compact design. After using for a few weeks, these are my thoughts on its pros and cons: PROS: - Attractive, modern design - Straightforward installation (using existing hardwire light setup) -...

Excellent addition to my home security!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The video and sound quality are great and I love the bonus feature of the floodlights. I used this Nest Cam to replace the carriage light that was mounted next to my garage door. It was extremely easy to install, I had it up in running in about 15 minutes. The floodlights are SUPER bright, a real plus! The lights fully illuminate my entire driveway, which is about 50' long. The camera is equally as great. The video is clear and the sound is cri...

Perfect for security

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This next came is a perfect addition to my outdoor area for security. I have one in the front and will be purchasing another one for my back porch. The ease of using your phone to manage them is perfect for home use.

Easy to set up!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I set this up by myself and it was very easy! I love that I can have this outside the front of my house and see what's going on when i'm away. I feel safer knowing I have a camera there and can access it at all times.

Intelligent design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very durable and heavy duty. Easy installation, camera and sound are very clear. I am pleased with the design and user friendliness of this product. Makes my house more secured and safe. Settings are easy to customize.

Very bright floodlight combined with google camera

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are looking for an amazing camera/floodlight look no farther. This camera is easy to set up (gives you step by step through the app). I am no electrician and installed it easily with minimal tools needed. Google home app seamlessly connects all your smart home items in one app and gives you a bunch of different settings you can adjust depending on your placement of the camera.

Love this camera

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Google Nest Cam offers great audio / visual compared to other security cameras we've utilized in the past. It can tell the difference between humans, animals and cars. Every time something happens, we receive a notification.
