Would RecommendIt is advertised to be able to talk through it with a Max but you can't. You should be able to talk through each of the Google devices which has a microphone.

Would RecommendI've been using some version of these cameras for almost 10 years. They keep getting better and this Nest Cam with Floodlight is no exception. It is much better than the LED security light that was in place and the camera clarity is great. Easy install and hook up.

Expensive Piece of Garbage
Would Not RecommendIt's unclear why, but this camera actually runs off of battery even when hardwired. The battery does not work in cold temperatures, so the camera does not work in our Ohio winters. Add to this fact that the camera does not show up in the Nest app, you have to view it in Google home. Also, the camera factory resets every 9 months and in order to reconnect you have to get out your ladder and uninstall the camera to get to the programming button on the back to reconnect to your system. Would RecommendReplaced my outside floodlight with this. Already had indoor Nest Cameras, so this was a nice addition. I like that you can control the brightness of the floodlight, and turn it off and on with the Google Home app. Not so happy that Goggle Home has not fully integrated the older cameras yet so have to still use the Nest app on those, but hopeful that Google will eventually get their act together.

Would Not RecommendVery high quality of all the components, including the box. Lights were good, motion detector worked very well, set to medium. Setup was not so easy. Several steps were left out, not well explained, or there was a software difference. Requires 5 MBPS internet speed. My DSL is max at 5 MBPS, but normally with other traffic my internet speed can go down to 0.8 MBPS. No Nest App
Would Not RecommendLove Nest products. Have a full house of two thermostats, doorbell cam, six protects. And four family members connected and using the Nest app. Was excited to get this when it recently dropped to a reasonable price. After install tho, found out it is not even viewable in the Nest app. Have to go to the trash Google Home app and there is no way to get this device into the great setup and functionality of my existing Nest Home on the Nest app.
