Ratings & Reviews for Google Nest Cam with Floodlight - Outdoor Wired Smart Security Camera

Super Happy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nest Cam with floodlights is fantastic and I'm super happy with it. No problem installing it the S hook made it easy along with the video on the Nest app. Looks great, aesthetically very pleasing. Being able to swivel the lights to the desired location without them flopping about was a big plus. Love the lighting, crisp and bright, bathes a large area in clear, even light. Video quality is very impressive which I expect from Google of cours...

Great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love this Google nest camera. It is hard wired which took a bit to install. Now we don't have to worry about changing or charging batterwhich is nice. Great picture quality. Night vision and two way communication work great. Connects to wifi. Very pleased.

Smart upgrade for floodlight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cam and floodlight is an excellent upgrade to my floodlight in our driveway. It was super easy to install - the hardest part was getting the ladder and removing the old one. The camera attaches with a strong magnet to the floodlight and is adjustable. We have had a few car break-ins in our neighborhood so this camera and light give me peace of mind. Great packaging and instructions, app was easy to install and use. Five stars!

Great Light/Camera with Clear Video

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We installed this Nest Cam with floodlight out in our boathouse. We live on a lake and would like to know who or what comes into the boathouse at night. So far we have seen very clear video or critters - raccoons, squirrels and a couple of herons. The unit comes with everything you need but, be warned, it is hardwired. We had to get an electrician to come install ours, which is fine, but just know that it is not rechargeable like the Nest Cam (...

Great camera to monitor your outside night & day!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I added this camera to the backdoor of my house to monitor my backyard. It has an excellent picture night and day. The setup was extremely easy. I already had a flood light there so it was just a matter of rewiring this one in. As far as camera setup I just had to scan a code and follow the instructions on my phone. Highly recommended!

Pretty handy once you get it installed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed this on the front of my garage. This is made to connect primarily to a junction box. Since I didn’t have a junction box I had to use smaller wire connectors than what was supplied and make my wires shorter so everything would fit in the small space. I also had problems connecting to the camera until I switched phones and then it connected with no issues. I tried connecting to it for an hour and I was about to give up and I switched ...

Peace of mind!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Nest Cam with floodlight is a great addition to my home security. It was very easy to install and had quick set up instructions on Google Home. The camera gives a clear picture and has the option to view a live feed. The flood light is very bright and has motion sensors. I would definitely recommend this product.

Very bright

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this set up. I have Ring devices allover my property and while I like them... they are no where near as brought as this nest flood light set up with camera. It was easy to install and it is easy to operate. I now no longer have issues seeing what is happening in my driveway.

Fantastic Floodlight and Camera

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Connecting my Google Nest Camera And Floodlight was quick and simple. I used the junction box and wiring from my existing flood lights, everything else was included with the kit. The Google Homes App provides multiple settings for the motion activated security lamps. There are several brightness and sensitivity settings along with a large degree of movement of the lights themselves. This allows you to light up large areas of your property with ...

Great Product for Security!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this product, and it was easy to install! I loved the design, as it was sleek and modern looking. I got one wired and one wireless as one location didn't have easy access, both were great. The cameras on both were clear and easy to see. The best part was, setting up the application was easy and very intuitive. Great Product.

Nest Cam with floodlight (wired)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this a few weeks ago and I couldn't be happier with my Nest Cam with floodlight (wired). It was very easy to install and came with everything I needed to install it. The App is very easy to navigate. The Nest Cam with floodlight has 1080p HD with Night vision so I can see anything coming to my house at night, which is awesome to have. I like that it has the HD talk and listen feature as well. I can talk to anyone approaching my home and...

Bright light!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been wanting to try a security light/camera combo for the back yard ever since my husband installed the door bell camera a couple of years ago. Living on an acre of land the back yard is always so dark that we avoid even going out after dark. My husband was able to install the Nest Cam with floodlight himself since he has some electrical knowledge otherwise we would have had to hire an electrician for installation. The first time the li...

Works well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nest Cam is definitely worth it. We had a floodlight on the side of the house and got this to replace it. I love that it has a camera and a downloadable app so that we can see on the path down to the yard. It was fairly simple to install and is easy to use.

Amazing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Such an amazing handy tool for home security. Very excited to see it in action at my home. High technology with the camera feature and the lights are bright and make you feel very secure. I recommend this product.

So many great features!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been very pleased with this light/camera. It was easy to install and provides a bright light and a crisp image. It works with the Google Home app, and with a monthly subscription, you can access even more features.

Seeing is believing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed this over my garage door. I love the camera quality and the wide angle viewing. I was really happy with the night vision and super bright LED flood lights. It feels so much safer knowing if someone walks up at night especially it just blast light and I can ask what are you doing! We have Nest thermostats and battery cameras as well, we love their products!

Great Camera. Great Lights.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed the Google Nest Cam with floodlight where an existing motion detecting flood light existed. The electricity was already run, so it was no trouble to install the light. The lights themselves seem very solid in the placement in regards to the camera, and they are set back a bit but not enough to create vision issues with the camera. The Nest app is a great tool that is easy to connect the lights to. I had no issues setting up the ...

Well Made !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nice Pisces of equipment. It’s sturdy and well made .The only drawback is it only holds 3 hours of video unless you buy the subscription. It was fairly easy to install, easier than a ceiling fan . It does need to be hard wired so some may need an electrician to install. We did make the mistake at first by downloading the app. You need the google home app NOT google app . I’m sure we will figure out cooler features as we use it . I hope ...

Loved it. Awesome picture quality !!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To put it simply, I am a very big fan of Google products (like most of us) and would always be the first one to try their products. The latest Nest Cam with floodlight is a must for anyone who wants to monitor the outside of their home and to capture important activities, get alerts etc. I have been using a different brand of camera with floodlight which was OK but it lacked a good quality picture, sharper images and intelligent alerts. Now w...

Cool cam!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this Google Nest Cam with Floodlights a few weeks ago and I like it. This thing has too many features to even mention them all. It took about 30 minutes to install and I love it. Much better than R**g. I am giving it 4 stars because of the high price. I do believe that it's worth it though.
