You simply connect it to an app on your phone and you can monitor the area in which you have the camera placed anytime. The picture and sound quality is amazing. Easy to set up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were able to take the camera out of the box, install the app and have it working in no time! I love that you can communicate through the camera, so if I'm checking on my dogs while they're home alone, or to see if my kids are doing their homework, I can also say hello or see how things are going or tell my dog to get down from the sofa.

Love this camera

Clear picture

Having this gives me comfort knowing they are safe. I love the feature that we can talk and listen from the camera. The picture is clear and it was easy to install. Would highly recommend it!

I love watching my pet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed this in the basement were my dog loves to hang out. I always wonder what he does when I'm gone and now that I won't be working remotely I can communicate with him more. I was able to install it and hide the cord behind the TV so it can't be seen. I love the clarity and the notification I receive. Absouloutly love this. I also have the flood garage camera light to which made me buy this one.

Great Camera

We utilize various smart doorbells, door locks, speakers etc, this integrates well into the Google/Amazon ecosystem. The camera has a very fast response time, and the image quality is very good. It has solid built and is fairly light, so can be placed in many different places.

Nice, clear picture

We have a motion sensor light out there so don’t need to use the infrared light for night vision, otherwise I wouldn’t recommend this setup as the light would reflect off the glass and make it difficult to capture the video clearly. Easy to set up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nest Cam indoor wired is the best little product on the market. We are using it for the room where we keep our 1 year old GSP puppy locked up when we are out of the house. We are able to see what she is doing when we are away. When she is acting up or barking we can tell her through the phone ap to be quiet. Definitely a must have product.

Doesn't work with NEST App. Junk

I have two NEST systems. (Thermostat, cameras etc) I have been using NEST and their devices since they first came out. NEST has its bugs but the devices work as well if not better than anything else. The NEST App has always been the best App I have used...it has always been intuitive and well thought out. little difficult to setup with no prior google

The camera itself feels very sturdy and the cord is plenty long enough but the setup was kind of a pain. I'm on IOS and not android so that might have influenced my experience a little but it just seemed like setup should have been more streamlined. Old nest Cameras are better

Cons: Only connects to your Google home app! It will not connect to your NEST app!!!!! The picture quality of this camera is god awful compared to the older indoor cameras. Nest cameras are turning in to crap unless you buy the $300 IQs… We are returning the camera for the older model indoor camera
