Great Camera than the Wyze I had before.

Perfect for my need. I use it for baby monitor.

Easy to set up

Easy to set up but could not find any settings for widening the view.

Unusable bright pink video

The image quality degrades and becomes bright pink after the camera has been powered on for 12-24 hours. Support claimed it was overheating, but it's in a north-facing Window that never gets sun at any time during the day. It's indoors at 69F and 45% humidity. Replaced the camera and same issue with the new unit. Never had this problem with other products used in the same location. Will return it and try something else.

Google home app is disappointing

The original Nest cameras that use the Nest app are amazing. I have had zero issues with them. These new cameras are great but the Home app SUCKS. It is more difficult to play back, and sometimes it can take hours before video from 10 minutes ago can be seen. Stay away. Notice the time on the screen shot and the time from my phone.

Best Camera on the Market.

Super Easy to setup and if you are a fan of Google Home and use their products it is a must buy!

Absolute garbage

Only buy this camera if you want to see the message “live video unavailable” 90% of the time. No fixes on the internet and tons of people posting the same problem. Here’s another fun feature, it’ll alert you to a persons presence but then say… you guessed it “live video unavailable”. I think, why is it unavailable? Great picture

First we purchased the battery outdoor Nest cam's. While they were okay, they did not tape constantly, only clips with motion. More useful than expected

Very disappointing

Was expecting much better performance out of Google with this camera. The interface is useful, allowing multiple zones to be set up for different alert types (people, animals, etc.) but without paying for Google's monitoring service, the video from event triggers is deleted after only three hours. The camera repeatedly has gone offline with no alert in the Google Home app that it has done so and requires a power cycle to come back online. Google Nest Camera Doesn’t Work with Nest Cameras

If you already have Nest cameras in your home, you can’t use this Google Nest camera. You could probably set up a separate account but who wants to pay for two accounts and go through the hassle of using two apps each time you check your cameras.

Disappointed with Google/Nest

While I’m happy with the clarity of the nest camera, because it is a 2nd generation, the consumer is unable to add to existing Nest app. You must access footage through Google Home. Google AND Lowes should make it clear in the description of this negative feature! Ad with anything with Google, the rules changes in the middle of the game! Just to be clear, I did reach out to Google customer support.
