Great addon to google home

Great little camera, has a great viewing angle, we currently have this in our loft and i see everything and then some. great purchase, might be buying more.

Does not work with Nest App

Very disappointed that this “Nest” cam does not work with my current Nest app. Have to use the Google Home app which is not as good. Google bought Nest and is killing a great app and products. Video quality is not that good as other gen1 Nest cams I have. Google Home App freezes when looking a history, app performance for Nest this cam is poor and doesn’t have the ease of use and features of the Nest App. I’ve also noticed in recent months the Nest App performance has gone downhill, blue spinn...

Nest camera that does not work with the Nest app!

In short, it works, however you must use the Google Home app to view the camera. There is not an app for PC and it does not work with the Nest app (mobile or web). Google Home app has a terrible interface compared to Nest.

Purchased a newer unit to replace an old one. The set up was simple and it is working like a charm,

Do not buy if you use the nest app.

While nest is in the name, this is not a nest camera and it will not work with the nest app. You will have to use the google home app for these cameras.

Awful Sound

This camera has an okay picture, but the next one I get will be 4k. Also, the sound is terrible. Live sound you can hardly hear anything just garbled. Download the clip and you can hear more clearly but still awful

Thumbs Down, Requires Google Home app

These new Google/Nest products are a huge step back from the first generation of cameras. You are required to manage this camera through the Google Home app, versus the Nest app that all of my older cameras use. Just a very short-sighted decision made with a product that didn't need to change at all. Do not recommend.

Great features

Exactly what I needed!

We wanted to be able to check on our dogs while we were out, installing this one was easy! I enjoy the 2 way mic so that I can talk to my dogs if they get too fussy. The picture is clear and the app is easy to use!

Easiest Cam Ever!

If only I had known! When I finally bit the bullet, I was astounded. It was perhaps the easiest set-up I have ever experienced! It connected right up to my Wi-Fi network and started working within minutes. The video quality is fantastic. I love that it has a "familiar face" feature. Pulling up...

The camera covers a wide space in our main living area. We are currently in the middle of a remodel and the camera has made it easy for us to check on the progress while we are away from home.

Great addition to smart home

A good camera, but a few watch-outs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The good - it was very easy to install, and it has good video and audio quality, good features for motoring and playback, 2-way audio. If you have a strong WiFi signal in your home and a power outlet you are good to go. No worries about changing camera batteries, connecting to a router with a limited range. Pretty much it is plug and play, almost. The watch-outs - I've had plenty of issues with the Nest app as I'm a legacy Google Home user...
