Useless without subscription.
Would Not RecommendThe Nest website is misleading. This camera will only retain footage for 3 hours unless you buy a subscription. There are high quality cameras available for a similar price that don't require a subscription. Would not recommend.

Would Not RecommendI was on the fence about these "new" camera's. I can handle the battery part(i.e. taking it down to recharge) but the show stopper is that these camera's can't be used on the Nest app. I open the Nest app and immediately see a live doorbell shot AND any camera that we have on(we keep certain camera's off until we need them). I also have the Google home app and it's P I T I F U L in comparison to the Nest app, nothing is live, you have to click on what you want to see live. My question is how is ...

Would RecommendUPDATE: Previous review was critical of Google not including a charge cable and adapter for each camera in the 2-pack bundle. Google responded to the review suggesting I contact GoogleNest help. I did, and the agent (Karen) agreed to send an additional charging cable and charging adapter. Having a cable and adapter for each camera is important because the camera's capabilities vary based on if the camera is under battery or full-time power (connected with the charge cable/adapter). Would Not RecommendYou might think you getting a deal buying this 2-Pack but just know that this packaging does not provide everything you would get by purchasing 2 individual cameras. This 2 -Pack comes with only 1 charging cable and only 1 charging adapter. So, if you have plans to keep both cameras plugged in all the time you will need to purchase an additional charge cable ($14.99 at Google store) and charge adapter ($$$).
