Horrible Cameras and Ridiculously Slow App
Would Not RecommendThese cameras should not be called security cameras. At best, they're just good for low resolution recording (if they're plugged in all the time). Latency in the app is terrible and you can rarely get an instant live view of what's going on. All the bad reviews are spot on. DO NOT BUY!

Would RecommendFirst off DO NOT RUN THESE USING BATTERIES. Second if you have connection issues with these cameras it isn't the camera its your subpar router. I love these Google cameras. All of my smart home items are integrated into the Google environment and my wife and I use pixel devices so it all works cohesively for the most part. Would Not RecommendReviews will tell you what it will do. It won't tell you it need fine GPS location to setup. It won't tell you must purchase a subscription to actually save camera and video while your not watching live, lol. Battery life is guess work at best they say 1 - 7 months, lol.

Would RecommendEasy to set up and well built product. Complements Nest doorbell. Battery life is unknown at this time, in its favor, back yard has very little activity to trigger the cam recording so that should help. It has been very cold, so that will reduce life. It will likely take 8 or 9 months to really assess life over several seasons.
